The Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing qualification is aimed at students looking to pursue their higher education through applied learning. The BTEC HND in Computing (Software Engineering) allows students to specialise in Software Engineering. The BTEC HND is equivalent to the first two years of a UK Honours degree and on completing the programme, it provides opportunities for students to enter into the final year of an Honours degree in Software Engineering or related area and supports progression into relevant occupational areas.
