The Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma in Computing qualification is aimed at students looking to pursue their higher education through applied learning. The BTEC HND in Computing (Cyber Security) allows students to specialise in Cyber Security. The rationale of the programme is to provide a career path for learners who wish to develop their core capabilities and skills required by organisations globally within the cyber security and risk management field. The BTEC HND is equivalent to the first two years of a UK Honours degree and on completing the programme, it provides opportunities for students to enter into the final year of an Honours degree in Cyber Security or related area and supports progression into relevant occupational areas.
